Looks Can Be Decieving

Looks like any standard razor, but the flex really does help with the shaving! Plus, when used with the Alpine Clean shaving cream, it leaves a nice refreshed feeling! Its a great product, I have only had to replace the head once so far since I started using it a month ago! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Really? FIVE blades?

I've been a Gillette Good News guy for longer than I can remember. Two blades have always done the job for me. I tried a three-blader years ago -- left me with nothing but a bad case of razor-burn and a healthy scepticism for the razor-people's marketing campaigns.Enter the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor.Nice design. All flex-y and stuff. Good grips and felt weighty in my hand. Time to unleash this baby on my sensitive face.I had a week's worth of cottage-growth on my face. Needed some serious grooming. Lathered-up with the Gillette Fusion ProGlide 2-in-1 Sensitive Shave Gel I also received as part of my BzzKit. Then went to town. Only needed one or two passes to get down to bare skin again. Control was good. Didn't have to press hard. Honestly - the razor did all the work itself! And my usual shaving fear - that I'd nick a couple of facial moles (my Redford-esque man bumps!) - was allayed by the pivoting head.Came away with a close, clean shave. Enlisted my wife for the cheek-to-cheek stubble test... No complaints from her. She loved how soft my skin was. And - unlike my last experience with a multi-blade razor - no burning or rash the next morning! The Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor has definitely changed my opinion on multi-blades; I'm a believer now! nice clean shave

I have tried many of the multi-blade razors because I have a hard chin to shave. I cut it regularly and have learned that it is just part of my regular shave. I have shaved everyday with the ProGlide from the day I got the kit and have yet to cut my chin. The ProGlide is the razor I will be using from now on. I am very, very happy with the Gillette ProGlide razor. The blade is still sharp which also surprises me as my facial hair is very coarse and I always go through blades faster than the manufacturers say their blades should last because I usually replace a blade in a little under a week and I have used this blade a week now.
