Sunburn, no Problem

I've been using Gillette's Fusion ProGlide 2-in-1 Sensitive Shave Gel + Skin Care for close to a month now and my face has never felt better. Gone are the nicks, the irritation, the burning feeling. Gilette's new sensitive shave gel is so complete that I don't need to add any after shave balm or cream, my face justs feels refreshed after every shave. To start off with I have very sensitive skin but on top of this seems like I spent too much time in the sun this past weekend and I had a pretty nasty facial sunburn to deal with. Shaving another day was not an option as I had an important customer meeting first thing Monday morning. I put my faith in Gillette's Fusion ProGlide 2-in-1 Sensitive Shave Gel and I was not disappointed. The blade just glided on my face, did not feel any pain plus the shave gel actually calmed the burning sensation I had before my shave. Grade: A+I travel a lot for business and I really like the new packaging, the can is always clean no more mess in the toiletries bag, I will never run out of shaving gel when on my business travels, plus the new plastic cans means my wife won't be on my case anymore for the rust I used to leave behind on the bathroom countertops.Overall score 9.9 /10 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Good in theory, but not for me

My skin is not a fan of shaving, or shaving cream and during the years I have tried more different types and brands than I care to remember. And usually it is the "Sensitive Skin" label which tempts me into buying something new. While it states on the can that the Alpine Clean Shave Gel is for sensitive skins, my skin disagreed. I used it for 8 days, shaving every second day and each time I was left itchy and feeling uncomfortable. It did its job in that the razor glided perfectly fine through the ample lather, but when I was done, it did not feel good at all. As soon as I went back to my current brand, I was good again.I've no doubt that some people will be really happy with this, but as I've found out so many times before, some skins are more sensitive than others and need something very gentle indeed. Not for me I'm afraid.
